Aroma Yoga Workshop with Jade Aastha

If you missed out on Jades Winter Workshop be sure to book in early for the Spring Aromayoga Workshop!

Each workshop will guide you through the power and depth of aromatherapy while practicing yoga asana (poses) in line with the season of Spring. You will learn how to nourish yourself with self massage, cleansing breath work, effective meditation techniques, relaxation practices and fun partner work.

Saturday SEP 30th 12pm & Sunday 1st Oct 10am.  $35 for 1 day $55 for both days.

Day 1-

Explore the healing benefits of using quality aromatherapy oils while practicing yoga. We will take an introduction to the specific aromatherapy blend for the season of spring and how to use it in your practice. You will be guided through a series of postures and sequences of foundational alignment into back opening, back bends and twists to cleanse and purify the body for Springtime.

Day 2-

You will learn how to use oils for meditation, self-massage and having fun with some partner yoga. You will be guided into asana (poses) to deepen your connection to body, mind and spirit and learning some purifying breath techniques.

Explore the healing benefits of using quality aromatherapy oils while practicing yoga. Aromatherapy is a wonderful journey through the senses that can open and deepen your connection to body, mind and spirit. In this 2 hour Yoga practice, you will learn the benefits of using essential oil blends designed specially for the season of winter and how to use them in your yoga and meditation practice.

Using quality grade essential oils help to clear energy blocks, transform mind and help repair aches, pains and tensions within the body. Each day you will be guided through poses that will re-balance the spine, kidneys and bladder for the season of winter and instill a calming and relaxing state of being.

Teens Holiday Yoga Workshop

When: Wednesday 18th January

Time: 3pm- 5pm

Cost: $16 per child

Developing the minds and growing bodies of 12 - 16 year olds, this workshop sets the foundation for physical strength, emotional balance, happiness, and overall well-being. The 2 hour workshop will incorporate: stretching, body awareness, learning how the body works, strengthening yoga exercises, understanding the breath and breath work, fun partner work, music, guided visualisations, massage and relaxation to help young adults learn to relax, improve their concentration and focus, release tension and become more at peace with themselves.

About the teachers;

Monica Mudge has been teaching Yoga to children for over six years. Her journey with Yoga began roughly 20 years ago.

When Mon became a mother she wanted to give the gift of Yoga to her children. Mon then became a qualified Zenergy Children’s Yoga teacher. Mon has gone on to train in Advanced Kids Yoga training & Yoga therapy for children as well as becoming a qualified Australian Sports Commission AASC Yoga Coach. Monica facilitated mindfulness and mediation scripture classes at Milton Public School for four years.

Monica has taught Kids Yoga through private tuition, in pre schools, primary schools, active after school care and continue to teach at Milton Ulladulla Family Support Services.

Emma Parsons combines her psychology and primary school teaching degrees and experience with her passion for yoga and years of yoga training. Emma is the founder of Milton Yoga Hub and the teacher of all adult, private and group classes at the Yoga Hub. Emma is a qualified kids yoga teacher, studying through Rainbow Kids Yoga. She has also taught kids yoga in primary schools.

Our 1 hour workshop at the Milton Yoga Hub is designed to introduce skills to develop strength, balance and flexibility in an environment that is Fun!  The philosophy behind our Kid’s Yoga is to teach and educate the ‘whole child’ in a non-competitive, safe environment, allowing them to feel happy and secure about their perfect selves. The workshop and all of our kids classes at the studio incorporate: breathing exercises, relaxations, guided visualisations, massage, reading, stories, music, creative arts and yoga games and practicing traditional yoga asans whilst working therapeutically with growing and developing bodies.

About the teachers;

Are you interested in Beginning your yoga practice with Milton Yoga Hub? For new students to the Milton Yoga Hub, we are offering a One Month Unlimited Class Offer for the price of $50. The 30 days begins from your first class and you can come to as many group classes as you choose during that time. Available once only to new clients.

Where do I begin and what can I expect?

Classical vinyasa yoga forms the heart of Milton Yoga Hub, synchronising movement with breath in a flowing practice that creates strength, flexibility and balance.

For Beginning Yoga students we offer an Initial Yoga Student Assessment in which the teacher will be able to assess and guide you to the most suitable class format designed specifically for you or for your child (we also offer kids yoga throughout the school term). The teacher can also offer suggestions for ongoing learning support for children.

If you are a beginner or new to Milton Yoga Hub we recommend you start in our Foundations and Alignment class, which will build your foundations gradually with a focus on instruction and technique.

More experienced yogis will be inspired and challenged by Open Flow and Dynamic classes, which move through an energetic flow with strong poses and creative sequencing.

Part 2 of a 2 part series running over Saturday 11th November and Sunday 12th November.

Each 2 hour workshop will guide you through supportive practices that regenerate the back and spine. You will learn how to gently nourish yourself with self massage, breath work, meditation techniques and partner work.

Join Angie Cowen, author of 'Love Life and Gluten Free' for a 2hr workshop on Cooking and Mindful Eating at The Milton Yoga Hub.

Angie will be demonstrating three of her most popular recipes which of course you will get to enjoy and see first hand how adding mindfulness to the cooking experience makes it a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
