PRIVATE YOGA OR ONE ON ONE CLASSES  Qualified Yoga Teacher and studio owner Charms Baltis offers private yoga classes to complete beginners to yoga as well as students looking to refine their alignment or deepen their practice.  Charms will guide you for 60min in a class designed specifically for your mind, body and health goals, and can also write a home practice designed around your needs as a student.There are many reasons to book a private yoga class! You may have injuries or health issues you would like to nurture, you may feel nervous or unsure about starting yoga, you may feel you are not fit or flexible enough (this is never the case bye the way) or perhaps  you would like to strengthen your existing yoga practice. One to One sessions help your teacher to truly get to know your body, health, goals and to answer questions you may have regarding your personal practice and journey. They can refine your skills, address specific areas of concerns, break down poses, focus on breath control and give specific feedback . Please ask us at the desk or contact Charms if you are interested in finding out more about arranging a session with one of our qualified staff.For Beginning Yoga students we offer a Initial Yoga Student Assessment in which the teacher will be able to assess and guide you to the most suitable class format designed specifically for you.1:1 sessions are $55 for an hour and duet sessions are $70 for an hour making it more cost effective per person.___________________________________________________________________  TESTIMONIAL re Charms Baltis, Milton Yoga Hub I am 75 yeas old and a candidate for a total knee replacement and a shoulder reconstruction. The knee operation was scheduled for November 2017. The pre-operative leg and knee exercises that were recommended by the surgery did me more harm than good and resulted in unnecessary pain. So I stopped doing them. Inflammation was another problem.Two friends, one with a bad back, the other who had a badly broken arm 2 years ago, told me that they both have noticeable physical benefits from regularly having done professionally-taught yoga for the last 6 months. I was sceptical because I had always though of yoga as being mystical and dubious. The friends, Sydney based, arranged that I have a one-on-one introductory session with their teacher. This was an eye opener - above all, I realised that yoga is a way to become supple and stay flexible without pain. My previous failing had been to attempt floor exercises that were self imposed and self improvised, and which were executed too vigorously and too rapidly. They were derived from my previous attendances at a gym.I realised in that first yoga session that the calmness, the time tested positions/exercises/moves, and the focused breathing is the fundamental difference between “do it yourself “ and professional yoga instruction. The breathing slowed the pace, set the duration of each exercises, and kept me calm and relaxed. The next day I felt good and looked for a yoga teacher closer to home. Milton Yoga Hub was recommended and I sought out Charms Baltis. My first 3 sessions, a week apart, were one-on-one, hour-long, beginners classes and I was hooked. My knee benefited as did my shoulder.I have since been to more beginners classes at Milton Yoga Hub and intend to continue doing at least one class a week under Charm’s professional instruction and guidance. Charms is experienced, is perceptive of my physical limits, and is very good at constructive advice. She ably corrects wrong moves, positions etc, tactfully. Aided by one anti-inflammatory tablet a day which helps me execute the yoga moves, exercises and poses, my feeling of suppleness and flexibility has improved, and (this is important) the pain in my knee has diminished to the extent that I am seriously considering cancelling my scheduled knee operation.
