Our 1 hour Kids Yoga workshops for 6-12 years are designed to introduce skills to develop strength, balance and flexibility in an environment that is Fun! The philosophy behind our Kid’s Yoga is to teach and educate the ‘whole child’ in a non-competitive, safe environment, allowing them to feel happy and secure about their perfect selves. The workshop and all of our kids classes at the studio incorporate: breathing exercises, relaxations, guided visualisations, massage, reading, stories, music, creative arts and yoga games and practicing traditional yoga asans whilst working therapeutically with growing and developing bodies.

About the teachers;

Monica Mudge has been teaching Yoga to children for over six years. Her journey with Yoga began roughly 20 years ago.
When Mon became a mother she wanted to give the gift of Yoga to her children. Mon then became a qualified Zenergy Children’s Yoga teacher. From there she has gone on to train in Advanced Kids Yoga training & Yoga therapy for children as well as becoming a qualified Australian Sports Commission AASC Yoga Coach. Monica facilitated mindfulness and mediation scripture classes at Milton Public School for approximately four years.
Monica has taught Kids Yoga through private tuition, in pre schools, primary schools, active after school care and continue to teach at Milton Ulladulla Family Support Services.

Emma Parsons combines her psychology and primary school teaching degrees and experience with her passion for yoga and years of yoga training. Emma is the founder of Milton Yoga Hub and the teacher of all adult, private and group classes at the Yoga Hub. Emma is a qualified kids yoga teacher, studying through Rainbow Kids Yoga. She has also taught kids yoga in primary schools.
